摘要 <p>The method involves supplying fuel with a predetermined injection pressure reference value (p-K-soll) of an internal combustion engine (10). A soot loading in transient operation situation is determined by determining soot entry of a particulate filter (22). The soot entry for corresponding stationary operating point is determined and/or corrected in the situation, so that deviation of the soot entry is accounted corresponding to operation situation. Deviation of the soot entry is determined depending on the reference value and measured injection pressure actual value (p-K-ist). An independent claim is also included for a controlling device for determining soot loading of a particulate filter, comprising a stored injection pressure-dependent characteristic.</p>
