PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the surface temperature of a slab is provided to improve the accuracy of measurement of the surface temperature of a slab regardless of steel type of a slab and emissivity. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the surface temperature of a slab comprises a temperature detecting unit, a temperate measuring unit, and an elastic support. The temperature detecting unit is arranged on an extraction hole of the furnace and is contacted with slab(1). The temperate measuring unit is formed inside the temperature detecting unit and measures the temperature of the slab. The elastic support elastically supports the temperate measuring unit to the slab. |
