The device (10) has controllable electronic switches (12) e.g. Vertical Junction FETs, forming a matrix (14) having columns (16) and rows (18). Two sets of main electrodes (12A, 12B) e.g. drain and source electrodes, of the switches of the columns are electrically connected to two sets of electric branches (20, 24) of the columns, respectively. The electric branches are electrically connected to electric nodes (22, 26), respectively. Control electrodes (12C) e.g. gate electrodes, of the switches of the rows are electrically connected to control branches (28) of the rows, respectively. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an inverter arm comprising switching devices, a phase terminal, and a positive terminal (2) a power supply rail vehicle comprising an electric motor. |
