<p>A stereoscopic image photographing apparatus has a shutter unit including a first region and a second region that are defined based on a gravity direction as an absolute basis regardless of an arrangement of the stereoscopic image photographing apparatus. A first image signal is generated by converting a first optical signal input through a first region of the shutter unit, and a second image signal is generated by converting a second optical signal input through the second region. In addition, a stereoscopic image is generated using the first image signal and the second image signal. Thus, a stereoscopic image with a difference between right and left views may be generated regardless of an orientation of the stereoscopic image photographing apparatus.</p> |
