Method for intra-oral optical measurement of objects using a triangulation method

The method involves providing two patterns (11.1 to 11.4), where the former pattern is produced by a shutter unit (3.1 to 3.4) and the pattern is projected as a projection beam (7.1) onto an object (8) that has to be recorded. The projected two patterns are recorded at the same time in a triangulation recording (20) by a recording unit. An independent claim is included for a device for optical measurement of three dimensional geometry of an object using a triangulation process.
