FORWARD OSMOTIC DESALINATION DEVICE FOR USING OSMOTIC MEMBRANE AND NANOFILTER AND THE METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Forward osmotic desalination apparatus and method based on an osmotic membrane and a nano-filter are provided to save costs required for generating fresh water by omitting a high pressure pump. CONSTITUTION: An osmotic membrane module includes a concentrated water outlet, a solution inlet, and a solution outlet. The concentrated water outlet discharges concentrated salty water. The solution inlet supplies a concentrated inducing solution. The solution outlet discharges a diluted inducing solution. A solution discharging pipe(120) is in connection with the solution outlet. A nano-filter(130) collects fresh water from the diluted inducing solution and discharges the concentrated inducing solution. A pressurizing pump(140) supplies the diluted inducing solution to the nano-filter. A concentrated solution collecting pipe(150) connects the outlet of the nano-filter and the solution inlet. A salty water introducing pipe(160) supplies the salty water. A concentrated water discharging pipe(170) discharges the concentrated water.
