PURPOSE: An operation system and a method for an EGS geothermal power plant is provided to control the amount of electricity by artificially controlling the flow rate of geothermal water. CONSTITUTION: An operation system and a method for an EGS geothermal power plant comprises following steps. Necessary facilities are installed and built. The several enhanced geothermal systems are coupled to the EGS geothermal power plant(2). Injection water is injected into the periodic enhanced geothermal systems. Left electricity is supplied to an electrical power system(1) by priority. Necessary emergency electricity is generated by operating a compressed air plant, and supplied to the electrical power system.
