NEW VOLTAGE CONTROL METHOD USING DVR(DYNAMIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR

PURPOSE: A voltage control method which utilizes a new type of a dynamic voltage regulator is provided to prevent phase deviation by connecting a DC link of a unit inverter in series. CONSTITUTION: A boost converter switch controls DC voltage of a unit inverter. The unit inverters are serially connected to each other. The boost converter is turned off. The DC voltage is added. Voltage applied to a superconducting magnetic storage unit is changed according to a switch control state of the boost converter. The voltage applied to the superconducting magnetic storage unit is in a range of 0V to n*Vdc.
