<p>The item has an elastomer i.e. fluroelastomer, matrix in which reinforcing fillers chosen from a group comprising microfibers i.e. Kevlar(RTM: para-aramid synthetic fiber), PTFE nanoparticles and mixtures are dispersed, where the item is made of composite material. The material is obtained from a composition comprising between 60 and 95 percentage in weight of elastomer, 0 and 5 percentage in weight of microfibers and 0 and 40 percentage in weight of PTFE nanoparticles with respect to total weight of composition. One of the reinforcing fillers is present. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a jewelry item.</p> |
