PURPOSE: An air conditioner for buses is provided to improve the condensing efficiency of a condenser as suction air smoothly flows into a lower part of the condenser. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for buses comprises an evaporating unit(110), and a condensing unit. The condensing unit comprises a condenser(200), a fan shroud(220), a condenser housing(230). The condenser is separately placed from a roof surface of the buses by a frame installed on the roof surface. The fan shroud is placed on the top of the condenser, and a fan is coupled to a motor. The condenser housing is installed inside the fan shroud, and comprises an outlet outside. The condenser housing is more protruded than an upper surface of the evaporating unit. An inlet(232) is formed in a protruded side of the condenser housing.
