POWER CIRCUIT FOR VOLTAGE SAG COMPENSATOR USING SUPER CONDUCTOR MAGNETIC ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A voltage drop compensator which utilizes a superconducting energy storage device is provided to acquire DC link voltage by connecting N DC links. CONSTITUTION: A boost converter receives current from a superconductor magnetic energy storage unit. The boost converter regularly controls DC link line voltage. An inverter controls fundamental wave output voltage through a high frequency switching process. An output filter eliminates a harmonic component from the inverter output voltage. A transformer serially supplies a voltage fundamental wave between a systematic power source and a load.
