PURPOSE: A position estimating apparatus and method of a moving body are provided to estimate the moving body by measuring a reference direction and producing an absolute angle of a signal. CONSTITUTION: A reference direction is measured by using an electron compasses(310). A reference angle is calculated from direction in which the reference direction and a moving body form(320). A signal is received from one or more beacons by using an antenna(330). An absolute angle calculated from the reference angle and an incident angle(340). The location of the moving body is calculated by using the calculated absolute angle(350).
