PURPOSE: Geographical feature classifying system and method for applying variable-sized windows to aerial light detection and ranging(LIDAR) data are provided to precisely classify geographical featureS by using the variable-sized windows. CONSTITUTION: A geographical feature decision part(110) decides the complexity of geographical features. The geographical features correspond to a decision window which is applied to aerial LIDAR data. If the geographical features are complex, a window dividing part(120) divides the decision window. A geographical feature classifying part(130) classifies the geographical features to correspond to the decision window.
