PURPOSE: A digital protection relay is provided to stably control a circuit breaker by preventing damage of an output contact point of a load device. CONSTITUTION: A digital protection relay(100) comprises a condition input unit(110), a key input unit(120), a controller(130), a digital input unit(140), a digital output unit(150), and a trip coil driving unit(160). The digital protection relay receives an input through the digital input unit, a current transformer, and a voltage transformer. The digital protection relay controls the digital output unit using the controller. The condition input unit receives status information of a circuit breaker(300). The condition input unit detects an on/off state of the circuit breaker. The condition input unit transmits the status information to the controller. The key input unit receives control output selection information of the circuit breaker. The controller controls an output of the circuit breaker according to a state change of the circuit breaker.
