<p>The method involves receiving a message transmitted via a network by an entity during implementation of discovery procedure in a network of entities comprising a communication interface. The procedure is implemented (301), by a gateway, in another network of entities comprising a communication interface at which another entity is detected in the network. A proxy module (VDMS 1) is activated (303) by the gateway, where the module communicates with the former entity according to control protocol via the network and simulates presence of the latter entity within the network. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for interfacing an entity of a local network with an entity of another local network (2) a computer program product downloadable from a communication network and/or stored on a computer readable medium and/or executable by a microprocessor, comprising program code instructions for executing a method for interfacing an entity of a local network with an entity of another local network.</p> |
