PURPOSE: An integrated connecting device of a mobile terminal and a method for operating the same are provided to reduce a space required for mounting a connector by mounting one connector occupied a small sized space in the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A displaying part displays a connector mode setup menu. An inputting part inputs one selected connector mode at the connector mode setup menu. A main processor(171) receives connector mode selection information from the inputting part. The main processor transmits switching information in correspondence to the selected connector mode to a switching part(172) through a controlling line. The switching part is in connection with a part of pin in the connector and selectively connects the pin with a data line, a sound line, and a microphone line according to the switching information. |
