PURPOSE: A multi-channel color LED control device and a method thereof are provided to control an amount of current flowing in each channel according to an outputted voltage level by including an LED driving part. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) which controls a multi-channel color LED comprises a color lighting controller(110), an LED driving part(120), and multi-channel color LEDs(130). The color lighting controller comprises an input decoder, a storage part, a color engine, a mapping table storage part, a dimming-level generator, and a transmission part. The LED driving part comprises a digital-analog converter and N registers corresponding to the N color LEDs. An LED driver IC determines an LED voltage level of each channel. The LED driver controls brightness of LED illumination of each channel by controlling an amount of current flowing in the LED of each channel according to the determined voltage level.
