SMART TAB DEVICE USED FOR VIBRATION AND NOISE CONTROL ON MANNED OR UNMANNED HELICOPTER ROTOR BLADE AND THE WORKING METHODOLOGY OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A smart tap for a helicopter and a driving method thereof are provided to apply a driving tap to a rotor blade for a manned/unmanned helicopter and to satisfy noise reduction demanded in the international civil aviation organization. CONSTITUTION: A smart tap for a helicopter is mounted on a rotor blade(B) of a helicopter and comprises a tap(10) and an piezoelectric actuator(20). The tap is hinge coupled to the end of the rotor blade. The other end of the tap is hinge-turned to the outside of the rotor blade around a pivot(11) as a shaft. The piezoelectric actuator turns the tap according to displacement by receiving electric field signals.
