OPTICAL FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An optical filter and a liquid crystal display including the same are provided to eliminate a frame by forming a printing layer on a bezel portion and to eliminate a rainbow phenomenon due to an optical interference phenomenon of a liquid crystal display polarized film and the optical filter. CONSTITUTION: A protective coating layer(10) is formed at one side of an amorphous film(20). A printing layer(30) is formed at the other side of the amorphous film. The printing layer is fixed to a substrate by using adhesive. The substrate is a glass substrate or a non-oriented plastic substrate. The amorphous film is a transparency non-oriented film. The protective coating layer is anti-reflective coating, hard-coating, and antistatic coating, or combination thereof. An optical filter is formed at the upper side of a polarized film.
