An inhaler substantially as described in the parent Specification has an opening 30 or openings located downstream of the heating element 12 to supply unheated atmospheric air to the hot air stream. In an inhaler substantially as shown in Fig. 1 of the parent Specification, a slot-like opening 30 in the intermediate section 11 is adjustably closed or opened by a slide member 31 which is inside the intermediate section and is operated by a projection 32 extending through the opening. Three openings (not shown) may be peripherally arranged in the intermediate section, the openings being adjustably closed by a ring which has corresponding apertures and is guided in a groove inside the intermediate section, a projection for rotating the ring to open or close the openings extending through a fourth slot-like opening which serves only as a guide for the projection. |
