METHOD FOR PREPARING THE EXTRACT FORTIFIED WITH CHALCONES FROM ANGELICA KEISKEI ROOT

PURPOSE: A producing method of a chalcone high content extract using angelica keiskei roots is provided to extract the angelica keiskei roots using alcohol before concentrating and removing water-soluble portions. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a chalcone high content extract using angelica keiskei roots comprises the following steps: extracting the angelica keiskei roots using a solvent at 4-120 deg C for 1-48 hours(1); concentrating the extract(2); removing water-soluble portions from the concentrate; collecting and drying water-insoluble portions from the concentrate, and dissolving the obtained powder in water for separating and collecting the water-insoluble portions; and filtering the refined product using C1-6 alcohol. The chalcone is xanthoangelol or hydroxyderricin.
