<p>PURPOSE: A transfer apparatus is provided to identify the kind of an object based on the location of a front part of the object. CONSTITUTION: A transfer device transfers various kinds of objects with different lengths from a holding unit(5) to one end(7) of the object. An object detecting unit detects an object located in a set position(B). An end detecting unit(12) detects one end of the detected object backward and forward. An identifying unit identifies the kind of the object based on the detection information of the object detecting unit and the end detecting unit.</p> |
