FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: transmitter in a radio communication network transmits combined a channel quality indicator (CQI) and a data burst acknowledgement (Ack) in one and the same subframe without bottom-up transfer of data, which may be easily defined in a receiver. When it is possible to work with a short cyclic prefix (CP), the first approach applies pilot signals using two different Walsh protections in respect to a CQI signal and a CQI+ACK signal. When it is possible to work with a long cyclic prefix (CP) and one pilot signal, two different code structures are applied for CQI and CQI+ACK, which both optimises a code table for each mode separately and also increases the distance between these two code spaces to the maximum. Different approaches are described on the basis of adjacent classes to search for linear block codes. Initial results demonstrate that approaches on the basis of adjacent classes make it possible to find good codes to minimise false alarms and non-detection. ^ EFFECT: improved throughput capacity of burst transfer. ^ 46 cl, 11 dwg |
