PURPOSE: A method for improving response property for the tip-in of vehicles and a system applied to the same are provided to minimize a delay until the initial speed of an engine exceeds the speed of a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving response property for tip-in of vehicles is as follows. Electronic control units determine the tip-in of an accelerator pedal while driving. In the case of the tip-in, the control of a lock-up clutch is performed. The speed of a vehicle engine increases up to the set level of a turbine speed through controlling the lock-up clutch. If the speed of the vehicle engine increases up to the set level of the turbine speed, the control of the lock-up clutch is released. The engine speed increases through the increase of engine torque.
