A means 1 of connecting polymeric soil reinforcements 2 to segmental blocks, the connecting means being shaped like a letter D. The reinforcements may be strips, and the strip may be passed around the connection means, the connecting means a strip may then be received in a cavity in a block. Subsequent courses of block are laid to build a retaining wall. The block may be made by pultrusion or moulding, using a single fibre type or mixture of fibres, or may be made from reinforced concrete or cement. The connecting means may be made of metal, ceramic, or plastics. |
