摘要 <p>Belts, preferably drive belts comprises an elastomeric base body and at least one tensile layer with tensile carriers, where the base body of the belt is made of an elastomer as a whole or at least a portion of the belt, which is obtainable by free-radical crosslinking of a mixture including a first ethylene-alpha-olefin (51-99 phr) with an ethylene unit content (40-55 wt.%), a second ethylene-alpha-olefin (1-49 phr) with the ethylene unit content (55-78 wt.%), and a filler (10-90 phr) including at least a silica material (80 wt.%). Belts, preferably drive belts comprises an elastomeric base body and at least one tensile layer with tensile carriers, where the base body of the belt is made of an elastomer as a whole or at least a portion of the belt, which is obtainable by free-radical crosslinking, excluded by sulfur vulcanization of a mixture comprising (a) a first ethylene-alpha-olefin (51-99 phr) with an ethylene unit content (40-55 wt.%), based on the proportion of the first alpha-olefin, (b) a second ethylene-alpha-olefin (1-49 phr) with the ethylene unit content (55-78 wt.%), based on the proportion of the second alpha-olefin, where the sum of components (a) and (b) is at least 50 wt.% of elastomer containing in the base body, and (c) a filler (10-90 phr) including at least a silica material (80 wt.%) with a Brunauer, Emmett, Teller specific surface area >= 50 m 2>/g, which is surface-functionalized with functional groups or is mixed with a functionalization reagent into an admixture for introducing functional groups on the silica material, where the functional groups are capable of being involved in radical crosslinking during the crosslinking of the alpha-olefins. An independent claim is also included for producing the belt comprising mixing the starting materials for the special elastomer for the base body single-stage and blending all the constituents in a mixer, where an optionally added radical former is added as last radical former.</p>
