<p>Magnesium cement comprises: a magnesium compound comprising magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate or magnesium hydroxide; at least one magnesium salt comprising magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate, magnesium iodide or magnesium bromide; at least one comb polymer having a linear polymer backbone and attached side chains, where the linear polymer backbone has carboxylic acid groups and/or carboxylate groups; and quartz sand. Independent claims are included for: (1) a binder suspension comprising 60-85 wt.% of the magnesium cement and 15-40 wt.% of water, relative to the total weight of the binder suspension; (2) producing a molded article comprising mixing the magnesium cement with water, molding the mixture into a molded article and curing of the molded article; and (3) molded article obtained by curing the magnesium cement.</p> |
