PURPOSE: An automatic excrement treating device and a control method thereof are provided to adjust the operation of a vacuum pump and a heater. CONSTITUTION: An automatic excrement treating device comprises a mounting unit(1) and a main body(2). The main body comprises a waste suction unit(40), a clean water supply unit(50), and a controller. The waste suction unit sucks the waste of a waste receiving unit, stores the waste in a waste storage unit(20), and supplies the air filtered in the filter unit(30) to the mounting unit or discharges the air outside. The clean water supply unit heats clean water supplied to the mounting unit. The controller simultaneously or selectively operates a vacuum pump and a heater.
