PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that: operation efficiency is deteriorated by a change in chemical concentration due to an increase or a decrease in the amount of watering; and the range of a change in the seeding ability per hour is narrow. SOLUTION: A method for seeding is carried out as follows: bed soil is fed from the upper side of a seedling raising container A during transfer with a transfer table 1 by a bed soil feeder 3 and seeds are then fed with a seed feeder 75; cover soil is subsequently fed with a cover soil feeder 115 and watering is carried out from the upper side with a pair of a front and a rear watering parts 45 after feeding the bed soil and before feeding the cover soil; fresh watering is carried out in a watering apparatus 45A on the front side in either of the front or the rear watering parts 45 and suction type chemical spraying is conducted in the other watering apparatus 45B for chemical spraying on the rear side.
