The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 971,962 but the claims are concerned with the overlapping joint flange portions 26, 28 and 25, 27 of the complementary sections 19, 20 which form the housing 11 for the inertia member 12 and which are bonded together by resinous sealer and cement 29, 30, e.g. a polyester or epoxy resin, so that the joints therebetween are sealed against escape of viscous coupling fluid. The two housing sections are made from a lightweight material, e.g. aluminium, zinc, or magnesium, in suitable alloy, to enable die or plaster casting to such accuracy as to require little, or no, machining. |
