The disk (30) has a circular axisymmetric body provided with opposed lateral sides separated by a peripheral edge of the body. A main projecting segment (P1) and auxiliary projecting segments (P2, P3) are formed on the peripheral edge of the body. The body includes a body center of gravity (Gc) placed on an axis of the body. A disk center of gravity (Gd) is offset with respect to the axis of the body. The projecting segments extend over a circular arc whose open angle is defined with respect to center of the disk. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a braking device comprising a brake disk and a liner (2) a rail transit car comprising an axle and braking devices.
