PURPOSE: A ship having a ballast treatment unit is provided to supply power to a ballast treatment unit and to become extinct of marine life by performing the ballast treatment unit as an electrolysis method. CONSTITUTION: A ship(100) having a ballast treatment unit comprises an accommodation(130) and a ballast tank(120). The accommodation is located on the top of a hull(110). A ballast treatment unit(140) is located in the front of the accommodation on the top of the hull. The ballast treatment unit receives ballast water from the sea in a sailing area to purify. The ballast tank is formed to be surrounded by a bottom, a side surface, or both the bottom and the side surface of the hull. The ballast tank stores the ballast water delivered from the ballast treatment unit.
