PURPOSE: A strain rate operation system with respect to an object and a method thereof are provided to reduce an error range of strain rate by computing the strain rate between selected points. CONSTITUTION: A point setup part(301) establishes a point to a region corresponding to an object within ultrasonic data. A range determination part(303) selects n-consecutive points among the established points. The range determination part determines a first target range and a second target range. A rate computation unit(305) computes strain rate with respect to a determined target range. The computed strain rate is mapped to the target range using a mapping display unit(307).
