The mechanism has a winding stem whose portion (9) carries a pinion (17) and is arranged for pivoting with a movable assembly and axially secured to the assembly. Another portion (8) of the stem is arranged for pivoting with the assembly and secured to a pinion (13), where the assembly is formed of single flat connecting piece (19). The connecting piece includes an elastic element i.e. curved shape elastic arm (27), forming a bearing with a body of the connecting piece for an inner end of the former portion of the stem, where the connecting piece has shape of semi-circular disk. An independent claim is also included for a timepiece comprising middle, which is not in contact with a portion of the stem.
