<p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling lamp power of a vehicle is provide to prevent an excess current to be supplied to a lamp by blocking output of an intelligent power switch in case a current value is over a set value. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle detects a current value of a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) power source provided from IPS(Intelligent Power Switch) to a lamp(S30). The vehicle determines whether the current value of the PWM power source is over a set value or not by comparing the current value with the set value(S40). The vehicle periodically detects the current value. The vehicle turns off the IPS(S60). The vehicle detects the current value at every PWM cycle. The current value is detected after a constant time.</p> |
