PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having improved shock resistance performance is provided to prevent the damage of a tire through carcass deformation reduction effect. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire having improved shock resistance performance comprises a tread(1), a sidewall(2), a bead portion(3), an inner liner layer(4), a carcass(5), and a stiffener(6). The sidewall is formed in the both sides of the tread. The bead portion is formed in the lower side of the sidewall. The carcass forms the skeleton of a tire by being installed on the inner liner layer. The stiffener is installed in the impacted portion(21) of the inner upper portion of the sidewall having the most dangerous portion about damage due to impact load. The stiffener is installed between the inner liner layer and the carcass.
