PURPOSE: An ultrasonic welding system and method are provided to obtain welding joint with electric and structural characteristics including desired resistance and tensile strength. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic welding system(10) comprises an ultrasonic welding device(20), an ultrasonic welding controller(22), and a power control unit(24). The ultrasonic welding controller generates a control signal for the ultrasonic welding device forms first welding joint. The power control unit communicates with the ultrasonic welding controller and stores an output power level curve for displaying a desired power level for forming weld joint according to time.
