PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent the separation of a base plate and a yoke without a separate stopper by processing the shape of the base plate and yoke. CONSTITUTION: A bearing assembly comprises a bearing housing and bearings. A stator comprises a core and a coil. A rotary shaft is inserted into the bearing rotary shaft hole of a bearing assembly. The bottom of the rotary shaft comes into contact with a thrust bearing supported by a support plate. A rotor comprises a yoke(410) and a magnet. A base plate(500) comprises a penetration hole and a base stopper unit(506) combined with the bearing housing of the bearing assembly. The width of the second base stopper unit(504) of the base stopper unit is formed longer than the width of a yoke stopper unit(416). |
