PURPOSE: A paddle tip manufacturing method of a pug mill is provided to minimize abrasion and damage of the paddle tip by using ceramic powder. CONSTITUTION: A paddle tip manufacturing method of a pug mill comprises the following steps: mixing 3.5-6% of silicon oxide and 0.6-1.5% of magnesium oxide with 92.5-95.9% of aluminium oxide in order to prepare sphere shaped ceramic raw materials; pulverizing the ceramic raw material for 24-30 hours by ball milling; desiccating the pulverized ceramic powder until moisture content becomes less than 0.5%; compress molding the dried ceramic powder with pressure of 1100-1200kg/cm^2; Sintering the molded product at 1620-1640 deg. Celsius for 2-6 hours under oxidizing atmosphere until density becomes greater than3.72g/cm^3; micro-processing the sintered molded product; and welding the processed pedal tip in a pedal plate. |
