PURPOSE: A method for measuring a liquid crystal cell parameter and a device thereof are provided to calculate several liquid crystal cell parameters at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A polarized light analyzer(104) receives light transmitted through a sample. A second electrical control device(202) is connected to the polarized light analyzer. The second electrical control device obtains specific polarized light intensity. A data processing device(105) receives polarized light data from the polarized light analyzer. The data processing device obtains an optical parameter of at least one liquid crystal cell by a slicing theory model.
