DECODER FOR MANCHESTER CODE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, DATA RECEIVING APPATATUS INCLUDING THE SAME DECODER

PURPOSE: A decoder for a Manchester code and a control method thereof and an apparatus for receiving data including the same are provided to adjust a determination time for decoding by comparing a falling edge point with a rising edge point detected from input data and a size of a high level signal interval with that of a low level signal interval. CONSTITUTION: A counter module(12) is operated by the control of a decoding module(16). An edge detection module(14) is operated by the control of the decoding module. The edge detection module detects an edge time point of data coded to a Manchester code. The decoding module performs an operation in a first decoding mode and a second decoding mode according to a comparison result by comparing a size of a high level signal interval with that of a low level signal interval by using a measurement result from the counter module. A recovery clock generation module(18) can generate a recovery clock by using a determination point time calculated by the decoding module and the size of the high level signal interval with that of the low level signal interval.
