A device for reading information from a magnetic carrier comprises two reading elements placed in normal to each other planes, binary code former connected to reading elements, a threshold element, element AND, and an executive block, amplitude detectors, adder and additional reading elements placed in the plane of carrier, in parallel and symmetrically with respect to one of the main reading elements at distance that is equal to width of discharge interval. A counter of information pulses is used, with its counting input connected to the binary code former, and the control input – to the threshold element, and the outputs – to executive block. |
