METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF DISORDER OF LIPID METABOLISM IN PATIENTS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME

Disclosed is a method for evaluation of disorder of lipid metabolism in patients with metabolic syndrome through investigation of fat-acid composition of low and high density lipoproteins of blood serum by the method of gas-liquid chromatography. One determines content of saturated fat acids – myristic and palmitic ones – and the sum of poly-unsaturated fat acids, with calculation of the ratio of those by formula:, whereinK – coefficient that characterizes disorders of lipid metabolism;C– myristic saturated fat acid;C– palmitic saturated fat acid;The sum PUNFA – content of essential fat acids,With comparison to control and at decrease of coefficients one determines the level of disorder of lipid metabolism.
