摘要	PURPOSE: A hydraulic brake for anchoring a ship and functioning as the pivot of rotation is provided to improve cost-efficiency by reducing time required for using a tugboat. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic brake for anchoring a ship and functioning as the pivot of rotation has a 3m length and a 5m width. The brake bears the pressure of water. Even if the brake is bumped against large-sized fishes or floating matter, the brake is not bent or damaged. The height of the brake is restricted within 2m since the height of a double bottom is about 2m.
