PURPOSE: An electrode catalyst for fuel cell is provided to manufacture a fuel cell with excellent durability because benzimidazole based compounds or benzotriazole based compounds are combined with carbon supports. CONSTITUTION: An electrode catalyst for fuel cell comprises carbon supports, a metal catalyst material dipped in the carbon supports, and a compound in chemical formula 1 combined with the carbon supports. In chemical formula 1, X is N or CR^1, R^1 is atom, C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 haloalkyl, Y is hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 haloalkyl, Z is halo, cyano, nitro, or hydroxy, m is an integer from 0-3, and when m is 2 or more, a plurality of Z is same or different each other. |
