PURPOSE: A superconductive fault current limiter using magnetic coupling with a peak current limit function is provided to efficiently limit a peak current and a fault current by using a quench phenomenon of a superconductor and magnetic coupling between coils wound around a core. CONSTITUTION: A first coil(112), a second coil(114), a third coil(116) are wound around the same iron core. A first superconductive module(122) and a second superconductive module(124) are connected to selected points of the first coil, the second coil, and the third coil. The first superconductive module and the second superconductive module have different critical values. The first superconductive module and the second superconductive module comprise a preset number of superconductive devices to obtain a critical value. |
