PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle is provided to improve the fitting performance of a tire by keeping the contact area of a rim and a bead tow toe part continuously. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle comprises a tread(1), side wall(2), bead part(3), carcass(4), and a nylon edge strip(7). The carcass forms the skeleton of inside. The bead part comprises a bead core(31), a bead filler(32), a steel chaffer(5), and a nylon chafer(6). The nylon edge strip comprises a junction layer, a reinforcing layer, and a step layer. The junction layer is inserted between the nylon chafer and the steel chaffer. The reinforcing layer is formed in the center of the nylon edge strip. The step layer prevents the slip of the nylon edge strip by being installed in the steel chaffer.
