A HSCODE SEARCHING APPARATUS AND METHOD USING ONTOLOGY

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for searching item classification codes based on ontology are provided to interlink a web-based application using an origin managing system and item classification code information with the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An ontology editor(100) converts item classification codes into ontology. A database part(130) saves the item classification codes with respect to various items. An item classification code searching part(110) searches an item classification code with respect to a product which corresponds to a user input keyword based on the converted ontology from the ontology editor. The item classification code searching part is composed of a searching engine part, an ontology managing part, a property vector processing part, and a synonym and relative word processing part.
