PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and method for controlling the same are provided to enable a user to conveniently check the layer allocation state and change or restore the allocation state. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen displays a multi-layer user interface. The multi-layer interface includes one or more layer stack including one or more layers. A command input unit inputs a command from a user. A controller(180) displays the first layer of the first stack on the first area of the touch screen. If the first command is inputted, the controller controls the first layer stack to be displayed on the first area as an unfolding mode. |
