PURPOSE: A display substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent short between an electrode of a display substrate and an electrode of an upper substrate in a PLS(Plane to Line Switching) mode. CONSTITUTION: A second pixel electrode(187) is overlapped with a first pixel electrode. Connection lines(151,171) are contacted with the end of the signal line. Connection lines are extended to the end of an insulating substrate. The insulating layer is arranged between the first and second pixel electrodes. The insulating layer covers the connection lines. |
